Working Bees

Generally we have two each month, one on a mid-month Sunday and one on the last Saturday. In Spring & Summer they are 9-11am, in Autumn & Winter they are 2-4pm. When coming to a working bee, please wear suitable clothes, footwear, gloves and hat and bring your own tools if you prefer. Also bring a full water bottle and a snack will be supplied.

Up to date details of the working bees may also be found on the News and Events page of the Redcliffs Residents Association also.

Next meets:

See the website at redcliffs.org.nz for latest meet details or contact Dave Bryce.

We will be planting trees, mulching and watering seedlings at all these Working Bees.

Volunteers

We now have 181 supporters on our email list and look forward to having more volunteers join us for a chat and helping hand on our future working bees. You are sure to find it very satisfying, planting and caring for native trees and wildlife and restoring the Reserve to its former glory, especially for the local community. If you want to volunteer any time or resources to this long-term community project, contact Dave Bryce 021363498 or email: ecosolutions@xtra.co.nz. Also check out draytonreservevolunteers.org.nz.

Health & Safety

All events should include a Health & Safety briefing, covering identified potential hazards and corrective actions/controls. See the health and safety plan.
